What makes Puggle portraits special?

Puggles are a first-generation cross of Pug and Beagle, and the muzzle length is the clearest sign of that mix: shorter than a Beagle's, but noticeably longer than a purebred Pug's flat face, and exactly how short varies from dog to dog.

Facial wrinkling shows up in most Puggles but rarely covers the whole face the way it does on a Pug. We paint whatever light wrinkling your dog's photo actually shows, around the muzzle and forehead usually, rather than adding Pug-level folds across the board.

Ears and tail carriage both reflect the cross directly. The ears are almost always floppy like a Beagle's, while the tail can curl like a Pug's or hang and wag more like a Beagle's, and we follow whichever your specific dog has rather than picking one by default.
